I am thrilled to have been invited to a very special event to commemorate the home video releases of Tomorrowland and Aladdin and learn more about Disney Movies Anywhere that will be held at the Disneyland Resort and at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, Sunday, September 20 through Tuesday, September 22. I am excited to be staying at one of my favorite Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotels, Hilton Anaheim.
Tomorrowland on Home Video
My boys were so enchanted by the movie “Tomorrowland!” They were completely wrapped up in the adventure, imagery and excitement of the movie. At the event, attendees will be given the opportunity to meet some of the folks who helped bring the movie to life, including Tomorrowland director, Brad Bird and movie talent Thomas Robinson (young Frank) and Raffey Cassidy (Athena).
Aladdin out of the vault and back on Home Video
Woo hoo! I am so excited Aladdin is coming back out on home video and cannot wait to enjoy it again with my kids. They have seen the show at Disneyland at least 20 times in the last year, so I think it will be great for them to watch it on video and compare and contrast it with the live show.
What is even more exciting is that as part of this special event, we will be heading to the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank to meet one of my favorite Disney animators, Eric Goldberg.
Of course, I am also excited to get to spend some time at my home away from home: the Disneyland Resort. If you haven’t visited the Resort during the Diamond Celebration, I encourage you to check out our Disneyland Diamond Celebration Trip Planning Guide for Families.
I will be posting photos and information about the films and my experiences Sunday through Thursday on my social media channels. I really hope you follow me to experience the fun and excitement as it happens.
Also, if there is anything you are dying to see at Disneyland right now, let me know (in a comment below), and I can arrange to do a Periscope while I’m there!
