Hi everyone! It’s almost time for the blog hop again. That being said, I want to say a few things about the hop before getting to the themes for the next two weeks.
First, I love the blog hop and I am so excited to hear that the hop has actually inspired many of you to start your blogs. I am so incredibly honored. You are doing a great job and in the weeks and months to come, I will featuring little posts to help you hopefully continue improving your Disney blogs.
Second, the blog hop is for all Disney blogs. If you know someone who blogs about a Disney business until other than Disney parks, please encourage them to join the hop. The hop is also for blogs similar to mine. I was among the first (if not the first) mom blogger (exclusively) writing about Disneyland. I know that others have followed after me but haven’t hopped aboard the blog hop yet. I’m here to tell you ladies that it’s OK with me! There is enough room in the blogosphere for all of us. We all come from different backgrounds, philosophies, and experiences. I was a Disneyland tour guide; writer for Disneyland’s guest communications, resort executives, and other projects; and have three boys. My experiences, opinions, and expertise are going to be totally different than other blogs out there. Some of you post news sooner, some of you have girls and talk the princess speak, live closer, visit more frequently, are amazing photographers (I am THE WORST)…you get the picture. We’re all different. If you run another Disneyland mommy blog, I encourage you to sign up and join the fun. We aren’t competing, honestly.
Last but not least, please spread the word about the blog hop. Posting the button on your blog and promoting it on Facebook and Twitter are awesome. A huge thanks goes out to those of you who have been doing this already.
So on to the topics! This week, I am giving you a hard one. The theme is “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” It’s a hard one, I know, but think outside the box! I am writing about my recent (mis)adventures during a day I spent alone in Walt Disney World. It’s ends happy…I promise. Think in terms of pictures, experiences, etc.
After this week’s tough one, I’m going to give you a break for the following week. Next week, I’m asking that you post why you started your blog and promote anything special you have going on in regards to it (i.e. upcoming trips, giveaways, etc.).
Of course, as always, you need not participate in the themes to be part of the Disney Blog Hop. See you all back here on Thursday!

awesome topics! Thanks for doing this Lisa! I’ve only made one trip to DL, but love what all you have to share on your blog!

Oh…truly appreciate the heads-up!!
The Disneyland blogs are new to me. I’ve been following a lot of the WDW bloggers, and I know tons about WDW…but I practically know nothing about DL. Love having the new connection to the Magic on the west coast. Disney friends are the best!!!
Thanks so much for this blog hop. I love it and everyone I’ve met through it!

Thanks for posting this. I haven’t participated the last couple times because I saw your theme after I wrote my post. I just figured I need to have the theme to go with the hop. Now I know, I don’t have to do the theme, if I have something else to share instead. I think the blog hop is great.

Thank you for putting to blog hop on for us. I am a newer Disney blogger and have learned a lot from you and others that join in on the hop!
