I’ve mentioned the windows on Main Street U.S.A. before, and in that post I hinted at the location of Walt Disney’s window. His window is not on Main Street, but back near the home of his friend, Mickey Mouse.
Yes, more than just Main Street has special windows. One of those other places is Mickey’s Toontown. Just like the ones at the front of the park, these windows pay tribute to some rather special people…or in this case, special characters.
You see, aside from Walt himself, the other windows pay tribute to animated characters, “toons”. Pictured at left is one of these windows, “Jiminy Cricket, Motivational Speaker”. Some of the others are…
- Scrooge McDuck, Investment Counselor
- Toby Tortise, Detective Agency (“Slow & Steady Solves the Case”)
- Chinny Chin Chin Construction Co., Three Little Pigs, Proprietors
- Huffin & Puffin Wrecking Co., B.B. Wolf [retired]
- Singing Lessons by Clara Cluck
Far more than just a couple of rides and a place to meet Mickey Mouse, Mickey’s Toontown is full of tributes, in-jokes, and references, whether you’re a fan of Disneyland, the animated shorts, the animated features, or all of the above. These windows are only scratching the surface!
For you to discover: Walt Disney’s window in Toontown says, “Laugh-O-Gram Films, Inc., W.E. Disney, Directing Animator”. What is Laugh-O-Gram Films?

I believe Laugh-o-Gram was the name of Walt’s first film company before he moved to California.
