As you probably have noticed by now, I always encourage Disneyland Resort guests to look all around them to notice the hidden treasures.
Today is not different. Hopefully you are looking up, down, and around when you visit. But what about behind you?
That’s right, behind you. You’ve probably seen the wait time signs at the Fantasyland attractions many times. Yes, Peter Pan’s Flight really is 45 minutes, even though Snow White’s Scary Adventure is only 10 minutes. When you’ve passed the wait time sign, though, have you ever looked behind you, at the back of the signs?
If you do, you’ll see signs like the one above, behind the sign for Dumbo, with a wonderful little verse that relates to the attraction. In this case, it’s from a song in the movie.
Or this one, from Peter Pan’s Flight:
And how about this one from Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride:
This is just another of those details that Disney does best! They didn’t have to put these verses on the back of the signs. Most people don’t look there. But some of us do, and they knew that. For those who look, we get a special treat just for us.
Next time you’re in Fantasyland, look at the back of these signs and enjoy this little bit of extra fun!
