With Disney/Pixar’s Brave opening in theaters tomorrow, June 22, today is a great day to learn the language of the film! Gather the kids and spend some time learning some Scottish words and phrases by using this handy glossary. If you live out-of-state, or just a bit too far to visit Disneyland very often, and do get the opportunity to plan a trip – one of the best parts (for me, anyway) is telling the kids and getting them just as excited about it as you are! We don’t get to come as often as we would like, but we still feel that Disneyland is our home-away-from-home! You can surprise your family with a trip to Disneyland! I always thought it would have been awesome to be surprised with a “we’re going right now!” trip to Disneyland or DisneyWorld as...

Heading to Disney California Adventure to ride Radiator Springs Racers? We rode it twice last Thursday and I have a few tips for that sneaky photo they take while you are zooming through Monument Valley and then try to get you to purchase as you exit the attraction. If you are a girl (or guy) with long (or longish) hair, tie it back! See our photo for the reason why. If you have little kids, have them board the car last in the row so that they are on the passengers’ side of the car. They will show up...
My Favorite Disney California Adventure Memory: Riding Toy Story Midway Mania
in All Posts, disney california adventure, Jessica
Denali & Dylan, eagerly awaiting their first ride. I have so many favorite memories from Disney California Adventure – the feeling of sheer awe the first time I rode on Soarin’, watching my little son be absolutely enthralled while we watched World of Color, resting my feet and people watching while eating the best chocolate chip mint ice cream sundae I’ve ever had – to name a few. But one of the most special memories was in 2009, when my family, my husband’s parents, and my brother-in-law’s family all went on vacation together during Halloweentime (which, by-the-way, was so...
On Wednesday, June 13, in an event that rivaled the glitz and glamour of a blockbuster Hollywood premiere, Cars Land officially opened with a night-long celebration. The event was attended by Disney and Pixar executives, imagineers, special invited guests, media, and of course, some of ABC and Disney’s biggest stars, including many of the voice talents behind Cars. The night began with the red carpet arrivals. Just like a movie premiere, Hollywood stars and Disney execs spoke with media and mingled with fans as they made their way toward the big, official opening of Cars Land. My favorite gal Marcy...
