New babies bring so much joy and happiness to families. They bring the promise of hope for the future and they warm our hearts with their soft coos and pudgy fingers and toes. A close second to holding a cuddling a new baby is shopping for baby. From the clothes to the toys to the adorable gear, shopping for baby is a joy unto itself and when you throw Disney into the mix, I don’t have to tell you how much cuter and sweeter the shopping becomes.

It’s easy to head to a big-box store and purchase adorable Disney items for baby and for many, many years, families have flocked to the Disney Store to purchase special items for their bundles of joy. Now, however, Disney has opened a flagship Disney Baby store that turns shopping for baby a celebration. Located in Glendale, California, the Disney Baby store opens today at the beautiful Americana shopping complex. 

On Thursday, September 6, I was invited to a star-studded special event to celebrate the store’s grand opening. And while it was really fun to learn all about the different products Disney Baby offers at the baby shower before the store tour, seeing the store itself was the highlight of the morning.The store provides an exclusive array of products to help families celebrate baby’s magical moments throughout the day such as playtime, bathtime, on-the-go, getting ready, mealtime, dressing baby, baby’s first, and in the nursery.

When it comes to dressing baby, the store is organized by product line (gender). Clothing is available through size 3 years (3T), with the exception of the Disney Cuddly Body Suits, which only go up to size 9 months. The store features everything from jammies to dress-up clothes to booties. Moms and grandmas will find it tough to resist the amount of cuteness!

Precious Winnie the Pooh items. The Heirloom Pooh (wearing the tan shirt) is just lovely and a wonderful keepsake for baby.

I loved all of the t-shirt collections; there were so many great options perfect for Disneyland trips. Of course, the red mouse-ears t-shirt is my absolute favorite for trips to the parks. I wish they made them in adult sizes too! 

The Disney Baby Store offers this cute section of the store just for mom…and moms on the go… with great diaper bags and clothes for baby that are perfect for the parks.

 Also in the mommy section are wonderful skin products by Basq that are perfect for mom while she’s pregnant and after. The products are natural and safe to use while nursing. I will be featuring more on this product line in an upcoming post.
