The Walt Disney Studios are located in Burbank, California, right along Buena Vista Street. While the “real” Buena Vista Street is not nearly as glamorous as the Buena Vista Street inside Disney California Adventure Park, the studio lot itself is not short on magic. The Disney Studios are a hybrid of business offices and production with a relatively small number of sound stages and only a small city scape for shooting, unlike other studios in town.

Legends Plaza

The plaques around Legends Plaza are of the hands of those who have been honored with the Disney Legends award throughout the years.

The studio lot has a college campus feel. This was an intentional design that Walt felt would foster creativity.

Two of my favorite things at the studio: a tour guide costume at the Disney Archives and the multi-plane camera used to create Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
