The Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District has a brand new resident next door to the Disney Vacation Club and the Lego Store – a new Starbucks!  For those familiar with Starbucks’ philosophy, they would rather shorten a customer’s wait by having two shops near each other, and for anyone who is a Starbucks fiend and staying at The Disneyland Hotel knows, your coffee prayers have been answered!  We’ve compiled a quick hit list of 5 things you need to know about this new location so you can plan your trips! 1. The store is called “Starbucks West” on the Disneyland app!

This location has it’s own official standing in the Disneyland app and will therefore be known as ‘Starbucks West’.

2. Enter through the left door!

This Starbucks is trying to create a flow of traffic – enter through the left door and you’ll approach the line for the cashier and then travel to the right to pick up your drink and exit.

3. There is NO seating available indoors

Unlike its much larger counterpart on the opposite side of the Downtown Disney District, there is one small railing to “perch” but realistically this location is meant for a quick coffee order.  There is no seating available indoors and there isn’t any seating outdoors either (unless you count the benched planters outside). You can also take you coffee to go and head over to the Lego Store and sip while your kids tell you about all of the Legos they want.

4. Starbucks West Operating Hours

For all you early birds or night owls, this Starbucks location is open from 5 am – 1 am (this is accurate at the time of posting!)  There is no ‘Starbucks Evenings‘ offerings available like the other Downtown Disney Starbucks, but Disneyland Resort hotel guests can now have a place to grab coffee when The Coffee House closes at 6pm.

5. Mobile ordering IS available!

One of the tried and true tricks for anyone staying at the Disneyland Hotel is to place a mobile order on your Starbucks app for the Downtown Disney Starbucks location near World of Disney.  By the time you walked down to the Main Entrance, your drink would be ready!  Although it wasn’t originally available at the time of opening, this new Starbucks is now offering mobile ordering and digital rewards, so make sure to take advantage of this option if you’re staying at the Disneyland properties!
