Weekly Update for Limited Time Magic (June 24, 2013)

June 24, 2013 in All Posts, disneyland resort, legacy annual pass, limited time magic, tiki room, vy by Vy

It’s been an exciting week at The Disneyland Resort as they kicked off the official start of summer – it’s a MONSTROUS SUMMER indeed!

This week’s Limited Time Magic will have you singing The Enchanted Tiki Room song over and over again and indulging in those delicious Dole whips.

Check out the recap of Limited Time Magic and what you have to look forward to on your upcoming visit!

Limited Time Magic Recap – June 17 – 23, 2013

Celebrating 50 Years of The Enchanted Tiki Room!

On Sunday, June 23, 2013, The Disneyland Resort kicked off their 50th anniversary celebration of Walt Disney’s The Enchanted Tiki Room.  Guests can celebrate at home with a Disney Parks Blog Wallpaper (more information here) and Annual Passholders can receive a souvenir replica of the original 1963 brochure!  My friend William kindly provided these amazing photos of the brochure – get your hands on one with a valid Annual Pass!

Annual Passholder Film Screening of “The Lone Ranger”

Annual Passholders got two opportunities to watch Disney’s new film, “The Lone Ranger” after a wildly successful world premiere at Disney California Adventure this past weekend.

Limited Time Magic On the Horizon

Bring Home a Lone Ranger Boot Mug & Other Lone Ranger Offerings

While supplies last, Disneyland Resort Guests can stop by Frontierland and get their hands on a special edition Lone Ranger boot-shaped mug “branded” with the Lone Ranger’s logo at the Golden Horseshoe.  Fill your “boot” with frosty root beer slush and indulge in some of the many food offerings inspired by Disney’s latest film, including the “Masked Rangers Favorite” – an Angus cheeseburger chock full of bacon, onion rings, and all the fixin’s!  I might have to try this on my next visit to Disneyland!

Disneyland’s Fourth of July Week-long Celebration! (July 1-7, 2013)
You don’t have to wait until July 4th to experience Disneyland’s fireworks spectacular.  This year, The Disneyland Resort will celebrate the nation’s birth with “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.”

According to the Disney Parks Blog,  “The Disneyland Resort fireworks spectacular will be held each night at 9:30 p.m. during Independence Week.

Every evening, you can also wear a pair of illuminated Mouse Ears and “Glow with the Show” during performances of “Celebrate America!” at Disneyland park and the patriotic pre-show to “World of Color” at Disney California Adventure park.

And at the Disneyland Resort, you can enjoy Red, White and Blue Mason Jar Desserts at Carnation Café, and Patriotic Cotton Candy, Apple Pie Pockets or 4th of July Cupcakes, in shops all along Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland park.”

This is sure to be a Limited Time Magic celebration to remember!

There are still opportunities to take pics at the Monsters University meet-and-greet at California Adventure and don’t forget to grab some celebratory mortar board ears for your graduate!

See you at the Parks for some Limited Time Magic!
