Although we have never had the pleasure of knowing what one of the Disney Princesses smell like — at least until smell-o-vision is invented — we can imagine that their beauty and personalities showed in their scents. Belle may have smelled like a rose, Jasmine may have smelled like…Jasmine, and so on. Yes, I understand that this is probably not something that everyone thinks about, but it’s Princess Week! So, in honor of this royal ritual, take some time to think — what is YOUR fantasy fragrance? To help decide, be sure to visit Mlle. Antoinette’s Parfumerie, a luxury boutique in New Orleans Square in Disneyland.
This weekend, April 27-29, treat yourself like a princess at the Givenchy Discover Fine Couture with Givenchy event at the parfumerie, which is celebrating the launch of a new fragrance collection by Givenchy. Discover Givenchy’s take on the finest couture materials and experience the newest Disney Parks Exclusive fragrance collection Les Creations Couture, which is inspired by lace and recreates its feeling on your princess skin. The collection features three perfumes: Very Irresistible Givenchy, Ange ou Demon Le Secret, and Organza. This weekend only, princesses and princes will receive complimentary bottle painting with any Givenchy fragrance purchase. So, take some time this weekend to celebrate your inner — and outer — sparkle!
While you are in the Parfumerie, be sure to admire the beautiful hand-painted mirrors. Do you know who those lilies were painted for? Here’s a hint: Walt Disney commissioned them for his own special princess.

My favorite Disney Scent harkens back to the Princess Shoppe in Sleeping Beauty’s castle at Disneyland. It was a rollerball called “Ariel” smelling sweetly of bubble gum and Baby Soft.Couldn’t wait to work there so I could lather up the aqua lotion!
