It’s no secret that around our house pin trading is a favorite Disney hobby, to put it mildly. Over the past few years we’ve made many memories while pin trading in the parks, and keeping up with the latest pin releases from home is a way to maintain the excitement even when we’re not visiting the resort. I’m really excited about some “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” and Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction-inspired pins releasing in the next couple weeks at the Disneyland Resort!
The first set of limited edition pins, titled “What’s This?” each have a hidden surprise that’s revealed when you open the hinge, slide the pin, or make it spin. These are expected to be very popular, so make plans to snatch them up after they debut on October 12 at Disney Pin Traders in the Downtown Disney District.
Lastly, this brand new pin design was inspired by the gingerbread house in the ballroom scene of the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction. Brian D. Sandahl, the Senior Designer for Disney Entertainment Creative Development, will be on hand for a special appearance at Little Green Men Store Command in Tomorrowland on Saturday, October 13 from 9-11 a.m. to celebrate the release.
