As part of the Season of the Force, Tomorrowland Terrace has become the Galactic Grill with a whole new menu offering dark side and light side items. Overall we were impressed with how creative and delicious all of the dishes were, and Disneyland’s comittment to offering delicious, fresh ingredients really shined. You can’t go wrong with any of the new menu items.
Here is what you will find at lunch and dinner:
The First Order Specialty Burger is a patty of angus beef and chorizo, topped with fried cherry peppers and spicy-lime aioli on a dark bun served with fruit or fries. (Disney has tested the bun to make sure it doesn’t produce any “funny” side effects.) $11.49
The Jedi Order is a grilled five-spice chicken breast sandwich with fried green beans, pickled red onions, watercress and wasabi mayo with fries or fruit. $10.49
Chopper Salad is a fantastically fresh and delicious salad that includes grilled chicken and feta with a roasted pepper ranch dressing. $9.99
Other delicious additions include:
- Cheese-3PO Burger is a really delicious classic cheeseburger served with fruit or fries. It tasted like a “step up” from the normal cheese burgers served at Tomorrowland Terrace. $9.99
- Wicket’s Wicked Veggie Sandwich is a fantastic portobello and vegetable sandwich served with fruit or fries. It comes on a really nice roll. My dad ordered this and decided against the bread carbs and was really satisfied eating all of the veggies with a nice and fork. He loved it and plans on getting it again soon. (And of course we didn’t manage to get a photo of the biggest hit of our meal!) $8.79
- Kids meals include a Han burger or chicken nuggets served apples and carrots, power pack and mac and cheese toddler meal, as well as a new healthy meal option: the Jawa Turkey Sandwich. This yummy sandwich is served on Banta blue milk bread and is also comes with apples and carrots. Prices range between $4.49-$6.99
The show stoppers are the Galactic Grill’s two signature drinks and desserts:
The Light Side: A sweet all-natural lemonade and Granny Smith apple drink with yogurt meteors and a light-up Millennium Falcon. This drink is one of my faves at the resort and those yogurt meteors are kind of fun! $7.59
The Dark Side: This very sweet drink is an all-natural strawberry lemonade thirst quencher with a souvenir light-up Death Star. $7.59
Darth By Chocolate: This is one of the best desserts to hit the parks in quite some time. It is a parfait with layers of dark chocolate ganache, red velvet cake and chocolate sponge cake. All of the chocolate lovers in my life are hooked, as am I. $5.99
BB-8 Droid Crisped Rice Treat: What’s better than an rice krispy treat? A fun shaped rice krispy treat with M&Ms in it!!! $4.99
For breakfast, guests may enjoy a blue corn Darth Tamale, with scrambled eggs and chorizo, red chili sauce and tomatillo. Prices range between $6.49-$8.49.
