Are you a Marvel “The Avengers” fan? Well, you’re in luck – the First Avenger, Captain America himself, will be ready to greet fans of all ages at the new “Captain America: Living Legend and Symbol of Courage” exhibit at Innoventions at the Disneyland Resort starting on Friday, March 7, 2014!
Media guests, including myself, were invited to preview the exhibit on February 28, 2014, with Annual Passholder previews being held between March 1st through March 6th before the exhibit officially opens to the public.
Upon entering Innoventions, Guests will be greeted by a large mural of the Captain America and are ushered into a queue line waiting area.
The queue area features a brief snippet about Captain America, stating, “His abilities, unwavering courage, and “never say die” attitude has made Captain America a living legend.”

According to Jennifer Magill, Producer of Creative Entertainment for Disney (pictured left), bringing Captain America to Innoventions to join Thor and Iron Man Tech was a natural fit – especially with the new film Captain America: Winter Soldier scheduled for release on April 4, 2014.
Featuring “items from Captain America’s personal life,” the exhibit features a timeline of events, beginning with Steve Rogers pre-serum and leading up to Captain America’s encounter with the Winter Soldier, the Captain’s collection of shields, and his original uniform worn during World War II while he was on active duty.
