To say there are few building bricks in our house would be like saying I only spend a few dollars each time I load up at Costco. My kids are always building and creating something new or rebuilding an old set. With that being said, my kids were over the moon when I pulled out the Blok Squad Police Force Pursuit set. I received the set in order to review it just after Christmas, but wanted to wait a month or so to give it to them since all of Santa’s toys were still in such heavy rotation in the playroom.
Similar to those “other” building bricks, the Blok Squad, by Mega Blok, features detailed, step-by-step directions my six-year-old found easy to follow. The pieces fit together easily and are just as sturdy (if not a bit studier) than those “other guy’s.” The blocks are interchangeable with other brands’ brick sets, which has proven to a lot of fun for my boys. In all, it took Aidan about two hours to put together the set and it has stayed together through many play times with both of my older boys.
The Blok Squad Police Force Pursuit has 319 pieces and retails for $19.99. I think it is a real value compared to other brands. The set has great details, cute figures and nice accessories to make playing fun.
Mega Blok’s Blok Squad sets can be purchased from most major retailers online and in stores near you. To learn more about the set my son built click here.
