A couple of weeks ago, my husband got rear ended while driving in Hollywood. (He’s just...

Limited Time Magic Easter Egg Hunt at Disney California Adventure
in All Posts, disney california adventure, first aid, limited time magic

Once school comes into the pictures, So Cal moms like me have to give up those footloose and fancy-free days of spur-of-the-moment Disneyland trips and give in to the confines of furlough days and vacation weeks. Lucky for us, last week was our district’s spring break and we got to get away from a day at the resort. One of the nice things about being Disneyland...

March 20, 2013 in All Posts, club 33, new orleans square, photography
I adore all of the little details at Disneyland and during a recent trip to Club 33, my husband and I noticed some really cool details while out on the balcony overlooking New Orleans Square. Next time you are walking in New Orleans Square, look up to the second story of the buildings and notice the decor and little details that you would normally miss! Notice the pitcher of tea on the table next to the wicker chair. How great is that?!They didn’t have to put that pitcher of fake sweet tea on the balcony, but they did. The...

Photo © The Walt Disney Company With the opening of Disneyland’s Fantasy Faire this week, today seems like the perfect time to look back at the history of Fantasyland. This is a huge topic, so if you want to hear more, let me know in the comments below and I’ll write a follow-up post and fill in some of the details. When Disneyland opened in 1955, Fantasyland was the land that was closest to Walt Disney’s heart, because it was in this land that his animated films could finally come to life in three dimensions.
