Walking Down Memory Lane at Disneyland

January 22, 2009 in All Posts, disneyland
In the paranormal community, they have something they call imprint or residual hauntings. There are hauntings that are not ghosts, rather they are the energies of those from the past that repeat the same actions as though they are lost or stuck in time. It is said to explain the types of hauntings in which a house experiences the same noise at the same time every day and the like. It may sound...

Book Review: The Imagineering Field Guide to Disneyland

December 19, 2008 in All Posts, disneyland, disneyland resort, review, vacation planning
Whether your are going to Disneyland for the first time or a frequent visitor, The Imagineering Field Guide to Disneyland written by Disney’s Imagineers is a great Disneyland companion. This 126-page pocket guide is filled with facts, photos, stories, concept art, and much more. And considering the long 40 minute or more wait, I was not the only parent excited to reintroduce this family favorite. The new “it’s a small world” boats are much larger and more comfortable than their predecessors. We could easily fit a family of four in the front row. The larger boats appear to accomodate more guests, thus increasing the amount of guests the attraction...

Why I take my babies and toddlers to Disneyland and you should too

November 20, 2008 in All Posts, babies & toddlers, disneyland resort
Whether I’m with moms at the park, friends, or family members, I often get the question, “Why do you take such young children to Disneyland?” They often go on with comments about how the children won’t remember the trips, that it is too overwhelming, or it is too much trouble. I’ve even read message boards and discussions in which parents have called parents like myself “selfish” for dragging my kids around the “Happiest Place on Earth” at such a young age. To answer the question of why, I must respond with a question in return… Why not? I love...
