Fun Fact Friday #7 – Just the Facts…On Annual Passes

October 30, 2009 in All Posts, disneyland resort, guest post, legacy annual pass
This piece was originally posted on the Daytripping Mom blog (http://daytrippingmom.blogspot.com). I read it and immediately asked if I could repost it here. It’s so informative and really breaks down the annual pass system. For the record, my family and I have the So Cal passes. Disneyland Annual Passes: Which one is right for you? I was chatting with a good friend yesterday about annual passes. He is looking to buy passes for his family and was asking for my opinion. Which pass should I get? I say it depends on your financial situation, how often are you planning...

Extraordinary Cast Members

October 29, 2009 in All Posts, disneyland, disneyland resort
Disneyland is more than just it’s rides, keen attention to beautiful architecture and design, and the magic behind its legend. It’s the Cast Members. Cast Members are the employees that work at Disneyland. They are the folks that bring guests like us the show that we go to Disneyland to enjoy. Whether they are onstage (in the park) or backstage (behind the scenes), all of the Cast Members at the Disneyland Resort–in the parks or at the resort hotels–play a very important role in making guests Disneyland dreams come true. There are so many extraordinary Cast Members that I...

At the big Disney parks presentation at the D23 Expo, Walt Disney Park and Resorts Chairman, Jay Rasulo, announced that a new 3-D version of the tremendously-popular “Star Tours” attraction will debut at the Disneyland Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida in 2011. Hotel Review – Hilton Anaheim

September 19, 2009 in All Posts, hotel review, off property lodging
Located about a quarter of a mile from Disneyland and directly across from the Anaheim Convention Center, the Anaheim Hilton is a beautiful and luxurious hotel choice for families. The hotel recently underwent a $60 million dollar renovation and boasts contemporary design features, luxurious linens, comfortable beds, and stylish bathrooms. All rooms have a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tee, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, flatscreen televisions, and digital connectivity panel for personal electronic devices. We stayed at the Hilton Anaheim two different times during the month of September. Both of my stays were excellent. The staff is...

The Babes in Disneyland D23 Expo Review

in All Posts, d23
The D23 Expo, the ultimate Disney fan experience was held last week at the Anaheim Convention Center. It was four days of Disney history, information, future plans, merchandise, artwork, announcements, and so much more. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got to the convention center on Friday, September 12, the second day of the expo. It was my one day to experience the convention without my family and I was excited to have time to myself to roam the convention. My husband has been to conventions like Comic Con and Blizz Con and has said that walking...

Don’t forget your PJs when you go to Disneyland!

September 1, 2009 in All Posts, babies & toddlers, Big Kids, Tips & Tricks for Families, Travel Tips
When my friend Renata and her family travel to Disneyland for the day and plan to stay late, she packs her boys’ pajamas for the car ride home. After a quick wipe down of hands and face just before settling into the car already dressed in PJs, she and her husband can quickly and easily tuck the children straight into bed from the car upon arriving home. Sounds like a good plan to me!!! Do you have any time savers that you pack that make car travel for day trips easier? Let us know on our Facebook page and...
