Terrific Tip Tuesday: Knowing when to just say “no”
in All Posts, attendance trends, disneyland resort, Tips & Tricks for Families
I’m back with my regular blogging schedule and Terrific Tip Tuesdays. This tip may seem a little obvious, but considering the mind-boggling amount of guests who went to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, maybe it’s not. Ok. Read this and take it to heart. If you drive to the Disneyland Resort and you have to park in one of the overflow lots or the Anaheim Convention Center, TURN AROUND AND GO HOME. Seriously. It’s going to be crazy busy and I don’t think it’s very easy when you are body to...
Just want to wish all of you a very happy Christmas. I treasure all of you I have met through Babes In Disneyland and appreciate everyone who reads (and comments) on my blog. I will be taking a digital vacation through Jan. 1…or trying at least. I have lots in store in 2011, including the Disney Social Media Moms conference in Walt Disney World (yes! I’m finally going to WDW!), the launch of my book, and of course great coverage of the big news and events at the Disneyland Resort like the opening of the new Star Tours and...

in All Posts, disneyland, disneyland resort, guest post
Today’s guest review of the Disneyland Holiday Tour comes from Al at Tales from the Mouse House Podcast. Al and his wife, Joyce, are devoted Disneyland fans and have a wonderful podcast you simply must check out. Their podcasts include multiple segments from stories to interviews to news and more. They even did an interview with yours truly. (Click here to hear the interview.) Now, in my opinion, the tours at Disneyland are amazing, but don’t just take it from me–a former Disneyland tour guide. Here’s Al’s review of the Disneyland Holiday Tour! Anyone who knows anything about the...

Heading to the Disneyland Resort for Christmas? There’s so much to see and do that you are bound to have fun. In case you’ve missed ’em, this year I made some videos (shot by Disney) about the resort this time of year. And here’s one I shot with the other two gals that make up The Three Disneyland Moms!
These three fabulous gingerbread houses are in the lobby at CHOC Children’s in Orange. Disneyland has been a long time supporter of CHOC and its efforts to care for children dating back to Walt Disney serving on CHOC’s original board of directors. Disneyland recently brought its magic to CHOC’s pediatric patients by helping to throw them a fabulous holiday party. Disney brought in these fantastic gingerbread houses and once at the hospital, children were able to place the Mickey Mouse-shaped cookies with their names on them onto the houses. The entire lobby smells like gingerbread and if you aren’t...

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: Their first whirl

Believe it or not, we had never taken the kids on the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in all of their years going to Disneyland. In November, while at Disneyland with all three kids alone, I felt like it was time. I learned two things–the line moves FAST and they loved it.
