The Babes In Disneyland Halloween Parade is back for the second year and I am so happy to have received so many fabulous photos. I’m also thankful that the good folks at Disney have purchased Lucas Films making it all the much easier to include Star Wars-inspired costumes under the Disney umbrella.
This year, the parade is marching on in two parts! If you sent me a photo and it’s not here, it will definitely be in tomorrow’s post, so stay tuned!
Without further ado…strike up the band because it’s time for the parade!
This year, our family went half Disney and half not Disney. I went as a ghost, inspired by the Haunted Mansion, my son Aidan went at Aniken Skywalker (with black fangs, of course), Connor went as Mickey Mouse, my son Brandon is Batman and my husband is a Sleestack from Land of the Lost (so NOT Disney). And yes, there’s an extra Batman in the background. This is about as good of a family photo as we can manage to ever get.
Lacy Banis and her son Zachary, age 5, as R2D2 and Princess Leia. They went to Mickey’s Halloween party on October 12. Everyone LOVED her son’s costume–even the Cast Members were spreading word about it! It’s easy to see why!
Talk about Disney magic! This Toy Story family includes Sam (Buzz) and Jay (Woody), age 2 1/2. They recently spent three days at the Disneyland Resort and enjoyed Mickey’s Halloween Party together. Mom and Dad (Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head) are divorced but had a great time on vacation with their beautiful boys.
Jackson Cameron is 3 1/2 and a darling Jack Sparrow.
Long-time Babes In Disneyland reader Kim Carpenter’s son Max dressed as “Captain Booty Bones.”
Erin Cole’s daughter Hannah as Minnie mouse holding her new baby brother, Harrison, 4 weeks old. Precious!
New Babes In Disneyland reader Sarah Hanisko’s daughter Lillian dressed as Rapunzel. Sarah recently found the blog and we couldn’t be happier to have her as a new reader.
Babes In Disneyland contributor Courtney Bautista’s son Mason (age 2) as Buzz Lightyear…to the rescue!
Amie Dalbec has also been a Babes In Disneyland fan for quite some time. Above, her daughter Olivia (age 1) is dressed as Tinkerbell and below, her daughter Savannah (age 12) is dressed as Princess Jasmine.
Talk about creative! We love Savannah Haynes, age 5, is this AMAZING Ursula costume!
These costumes are truly a “jolly holiday!” Naomi, age 6, and Justin, age 4, look like they just jumped off the screen of the movie “Mary Poppins!”
Everyone’s costumes are so creative! Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for part 2 of the Babes In Disneyland Costume Parade!

I’m still not seeing part 2 of the costume parade. Was it supposed to continue on this thread or on a new post?
