As I mention in my post about my Disney Side @Home Party Play Date, I chose to go with a “vintage Disneyland” theme when it comes to Disney, that is what best fit both my personality and my home decor. I accomplished the look for my party by using some of the things I already had around the house, my printer and help from my friend Ryan, who is the owner of the ultra chic Tin Parade Party Goods.
My tablescape was the most important place where I set the tone for my vintage Disneyland theme. I started with a white tablecloth and layered a burlap runner and cream and blue Tin Parade runner on top of it. I loved the look of the layers on the table, as it really added interest to the basic table surface.
In order to carryout the vintage Disneyland theme, I printed vintage Disneyland-themed posters and attraction posters off the Internet and replaced the normal artwork I have hanging in my dining room with a Snow White’s Scary Adventure poster I had stored under my bed. I really love the idea of switching out art for parties and holidays and this simple switch really served as the perfect backdrop to the table scape. I put some of the printed vintage attraction posters on the table to enhance the vintage Disneyland theme (and cover some stains on my white table cloth). It looked really cool.
The metal tubs by Tin Parade were great vintage accents and were the perfect place to store our drinks, snacks, prizes and supplies for our party games.

I love to decorate my tablescapes with more than food and decided to accent my table with a small Minnie Mouse statue and some great vintage train pieces from Tin Parade.
Sandwiches cut with Mickey Mouse cookie cutters and Mickey Mouse cupcakes were my Disney-themed foods. |
If you are looking for an amazing way to set the mood for your next vintage-inspired party or shower, I highly recommend Tin Parade. Tin Parade’s party goods and decorations are environmentally friendly and can be used over and over again.
- The Jax’s Train Party is a great way to bring the vintage train (Disneyland Railroad) feel to a party.
- The Ben’s Circus Party is great for a vintage Fantasyland theme (until the 1980s, Fantasyland had a traveling tent show motif) or is perfect for a Dumbo themed party.
- Ruby’s Tea Party is perfect for an Alice In Wonderland and Storybook Land Canal Boats themed party.
Tin Parade is always on trend with the latest fashions in home decor and party theming and their customer service is top notch. Best of all, Tin Parade is a mom-owned business from right here in So Cal!
