Special meetings with the characters can add a hearty dose of magic to any Disneyland trip. There are those obvious places to find characters–like Main Street’s Town Square and Toontown. Many guests forget that characters can also often be found along Big Thunder Trail. The trail is the path that takes guests from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, goes back behind the attraction, goes by Big Thunder Ranch and ends at Fantasyland’s west gate and restrooms.
Recently, long-time Babes In Disneyland reader reminded us of how incredible this spot can be for meeting characters with these incredible photos of her son. And while you are walking along the trail, pop in to Big Thunder Ranch where’s there’s always something fun going on for little tikes (perhaps even a hug from Minnie).
