Halloween time has become one of my favorite times of year at Disneyland. I love the festive décor and delicious foods available this time of year. What I love most, however, are all of the unique opportunities to make memories with my children.
I have to admit that I shelter my kids. We don’t allow scary movies in our home and often even Disney movies can send my kids running for cover. That being said, Halloween can be a tough time of year because of how graphic Halloween has gotten. Disneyland is happily a place that my family can get away to and know that we can enjoy Halloween fun without having to worry about anything scary or menacing creeping into my boys’ dreams at night.
And while Disneyland has always been a favorite place for us to take memorable pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes, Disney has really upped their game this year by providing families with even more wonderful opportunities for families to create memories with their young children. From pumpkin carving, art and game activities and petting goats and sheep at Big Thunder Ranch to becoming a pirate at the new Pirates League, Disneyland offers a lot of truly remarkable experiences for young children this time of year.
I am thrilled to bring you these videos on Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort—just for families with young children.

Thanks so much for your blog! We recently took our 3 grandsons to Pirates League at Disneyland and it was so much fun, even more than we could have imagined. It was definitely one of our Disneyland highlights. Thanks again for the great tips!
