Raise your fin if you can’t wait for “Finding Dory,” the sequel to Pixar’s beloved “Finding Nemo,” slated to come out June 17? I, for one, cannot wait! The kids and I loved the original and cannot wait to see Dory’s new adventure.
“Finding Nemo” won the 2003 Academy Award for best animated feature, and was nominated for three additional Oscars. At the time of its release, it was the highest-grossing G-rated movie of all time, and continues to hold the record as the fifth highest grossing animated film worldwide. “Finding Dory” reunites Dory with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past in an effort to help her remember who she is, who her parents are and where she learned to speak Whale!
I am thrilled to announce that the good folks at Disney have invited me to a very special experience at the beautiful Monterey Bay Aquarium next Monday and Tuesday (March 7 and 8) in order to learn more about and see portions of the film in an environment populated by all of Dory’s marine friends. I will even have the opportunity to meet many of the amazing filmmakers working on the project–including two-time Oscar-winning director Andrew Stanton
I am beyond honored to be part of this incredible event and hope that you will follow along with me during my adventure. You can follow me on the Babes In Disneyland Instagram, my personal Instagram, Twitter and on the Babes In Disneyland Facebook page to see photos from my trip and to learn more about the film. You can also follow the event hashtag across all social media platforms #FindingDoryEvent.
