Top 5: Ways to Make Your Princess Feel Like a Disney Princess at the Disneyland Resort

There is definitely a difference between feeling like a princess and feeling like a Disney Princess — and I’m sure any little princess would delight in a Disney royal treatment. If you’re planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort with your little princess, here are our top five ways to make sure she’s up to her tiara in princess magic:

1. Schedule a transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Help your little girl instantly feel like Disney Princess by looking like one! At the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Fantasyland inside Disneyland Park, little girls can be fully transformed into the Disney Princess of their choice from head to toe — or rather, from tiara to glass slipper! After deciding on a gown and accessories (shoes, wands, etc.) in the shop, little princesses are seated in front of Fairy Godmothers in Training who wave their magic wands (and hair and make-up brushes and spray on glitter) and complete the transformation. Fairy Godmothers in Training are busy ladies, so be sure to book transformations ahead of time by calling (714) 781-STYLE or (714) 781-7895.  (If your princess is too old for this experience, check out number four on this list.)

2. Meet with the real Disney Princess and enjoy a great meal at Ariel’s Grotto
Treat your princess to a meal fit for the royalty she is — and give her the chance to meet and greet her favorite princesses — at Ariel’s Grotto, a sit down dining experience in Disney California Adventure. This is a great way for your little girl to show off her new transformation and spend some time with the Disney Princesses, as well as enjoy a great meal together.

3. Shop, Shop, Shop — in Disney Princess Style!
The thing I love about Disney Princesses is that each have their own style and personalities, which is something to remind your little princess about — while shopping! If your princess is old enough, load a Disney Princess gift card with a shopping budget, then allow her to decide how she spends it. You may be surprised to see how pampered she’ll feel when given the freedom to spend “her” money. To continue the royal experience, I suggest stopping by New Century Jewelry on Main Street for treasures that will help your princess sparkle!

4. Be Pampered at Mandara Spa
If your princess is a little older, indulge in a luxurious massage, facial, or any of the other exotic experiences at Mandara Spa inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. This is an experience that is sure to make any lovely lady feel pampered and royal. Warning: this experience may result in the desire to sing with woodland creatures.

5. Sleep like a Princess at the Disneyland Hotel
To really celebrate your little princess, book a night in one of the fantastical rooms at the Disneyland Hotel. Known for its true Disney hospitality and magical ambiance, the Disneyland Hotel is a great place to stay that makes every member of your family feel like Disney royalty. Be sure to ask about the magical features of each room to cater to your princess’s favorite Disney experiences. You can also book a room inside the Fantasy Tower, so ensure that your little princess wakes and sleeps amongst the fantasy of being a Disney Princess!
