I have a confession to make. Before meeting my husband, I had never watched a Star Wars movie. Ever. It wasn’t because my parents didn’t love the movies when they came out. Let’s just say I’m more of a princesses and fairy tales kind of gal. I lived for the Disney princesses as a child, so the idea of a space story just didn’t appeal to me.

Flash forward to my life now as a mother of three boys. It’s safe to say that we have virtually every Star Wars toy given the fact that my boys not only have their own toys but those my husband played with as a child. On top of that, on any given day, at least one person in our home is either wearing a Star Wars (or Clone Wars) shirt, watching a Star Wars movie or is engaging in a philosophical discussion rooted in a Star Wars film. In spite of the fact that I’m still shocked to live in a princess-free home, I am always looking for new and fun Star Wars themed items for my boys–including my husband.
