Talk Like a Never Land Pirate Day Coming Monday, September 19

ARR! It’s time to get those salty little pirates on your ship ready for National Talk Like a Pirate Day and Disney Junior’s “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” Talk Like A Pirate Day marathon, Monday, September 19. Not only will your swashbucklers get to watch back-to-back episodes of their favorite Never Land friends, but they’ll also be treated to a new episode entitled “Captain Hook’s Parrot/Skybird Island Is Falling” (8:30 – 9:00 a.m., ET/PT). In the new episode, Jake and his crew use teamwork and quick thinking to rescue Skully from the clutches of Captain Hook and save Skybird Island from falling when Captain Hook tries to take all the leaves from the island’s Golden Tree. My boys have already previewed this episode over and over…and over…and over… and they LOVE it!

In addition, Disney’s new Talk Like A Never Land Pirate Day micro-site allows fans to create and share their own animated videos of their favorite “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” characters using different pirate sayings, sound effects and backdrops.
