Today is the final day of the ten day Happy Lunar New Year Celebration at Disneyland Park. This special event of happiness, good health, and prosperity celebrates Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean ancient cultures. Chip ‘n’ Dale — dressed in Asian inspired outfits — join Mulan and Mushu to greet Guests in celebrating the beginning of the Year of the Dragon. Along with enjoying Asian inspired food such as edamame, egg rolls, and fortune cookies, you will be entertained by a traditional Chinese lion dance troupe, kung fu martial arts demonstration and ribbon-wand dancers, Vietnamese musicians and dancers, Korean drummers, and the Terracotta Warrior. There is also a place to color and watch traditional Korean brush-stroke painting by a local artist. The Happy Lunar New Year Celebration, which takes place in front of “it’s a small world” from 10 am to 5 pm, is a great way to give your family a cross-cultural experience that is fun and educational!
