Walt Disney was always ahead of his time when it came to the environment and nature. His commitment to being good to the planet is still something the Walt Disney Company takes very seriously.

By the middle of 2019, the Disneyland Resort plans to eliminate single-use plastic straws and plastic stirrers from its beverage offerings. This effort is part of The Walt Disney Company’s commitment to reduce plastic waste at locations around the globe. In addition, the Disneyland Resort is reducing in-room plastics by 80 percent, reducing plastic shopping bags and eliminating polystyrene cups.

Starting this week, plastic straws and plastic bags will only to be offered by request, and lids for adult cold beverages will no longer be offered. For guests with disabilities who need to use straws or lids, alternative options will be provided as necessary. Services for Guests with Disabilities team will be available before and during a visit.
