Now that the Disneyland Resort has announced their plans for this summer’s 60th Diamond Anniversary, the merchandise department has also been busy showing off some of the excellent new products they will be (or already are) offering! Check out this months’ Merchandise Monday for some sneak peaks of the 60th Anniversary items for sale as well as the round-up of February 2015 pins, Vinylmation, and other items available in the parks this month!

Disneyland Resort Diamond Anniversary Merchandise Art – We have a preview of some of the 60th Anniversary merchandise art coming to Disneyland Resort stores this May 2015. The amazing new art will appear on three celebration collections and more than 500 merchandise items, including apparel, accessories, headwear, home décor, souvenirs, toys, pins, D-Tech, collectibles and more. There will be the Character Collection, the Castle Collection, and the Diamond Collection

60th Anniversary Countdown Series Pins – If you are a pin collector, start looking for this special series of pins featuring memorable Walt Disney moments and quotes. The pins will be released one each month, the first one already on January 31st on through July. See the release dates below (edition sizes 3,000):

Blue 60th Pin – January 31, 2015
Red 60th Pin – February 19, 2015
Turquoise 60th Pin – March 19, 2015
Purple 60th Pin – April 16, 2015
Yellow 60th Pin – May 14, 2015

Disneyland Resort Diamond Anniversary Popcorn Bucket – Debuting this May at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, are these too-cute-for-words premium popcorn buckets (shown at the top of the post) are designed to commemorate the iconic Mickey balloon! Available in red, purple and blue – this bucket is perfect to hold your keepsakes long after your visit during the resort’s 60th anniversary celebration.

Featured Treat: Black Forest Gourmet Apple – This February try the very decadent and unique gourmet candy apple dipped in caramel,coated in dark chocolate, sprinkled with roasted almonds and maraschino cherries, then finished off with a drizzle of sweet milk chocolate and more cherries – for good measure.
