If you have tickets to attend Mickey’s Halloween Party this month but haven’t planned your family’s costumes, now is the time to do it! I hope that all adults will take advantage of the rare opportunity to enjoy Disneyland while in costume. Remember that costumes don’t have to be elaborate or expensive to bring a lot of fun Halloween spirit to your party experience, and your kids will love to see mom and dad decked out along with them for the special night!

This year Disney introduced four new women’s t-shirts that provide an easy way to dress the part of some beloved characters. These recently-released shirts were inspired by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Snow White and are available for purchase at select Disneyland Resort stores. Another way to create a simple disguise is with an ear hat or headband. I especially love all the Halloween-inspired selections available this season.

Disney Design Group artist Darren Wilson designed this bowler hat modeled after one worn by a character in the Haunted Mansion attraction. Look closely at the ribbon and you’ll notice it’s the same print as the wallpaper inside the attraction.
To turn preparing your little ones for the Halloween party into a fun transformation experience at the park, consider taking them to the Pirates League in New Orleans Square to take on the persona of First Mate, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, or the Empress. You can also pay a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disneyland Resort to give your princess the royal treatment, where this adorable Halloween-inspired Minnie Mouse dress can be added to any package.
Are you curious about Disney Pin Trading but not sure where to start or who to ask for tips? Or are you a seasoned trader looking to connect with other fans? If so, make plans to attend Disney Trading Night this Friday, Oct. 12 from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Pacific Ballroom at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Guests will have the opportunity to meet both avid and novice traders, make friends, share about collections, and of course trade Disney Pins! It is recommended that attendees park in the Downtown Disney District parking area or the Mickey and Friends parking structure.
