After a very, very long closure “it’s a small world” has reopened dressed in its holiday finest. Complete with fresh paint in and out and most notably new boats, this attraction did not disappoint. And considering the long 40 minute or more wait, I was not the only parent excited to reintroduce this family favorite.
The new “it’s a small world” boats are much larger and more comfortable than their predecessors. We could easily fit a family of four in the front row. The larger boats appear to accomodate more guests, thus increasing the amount of guests the attraction can accomodate per hour. The higher seat backs make the seats in the attraction far more comfortable than before.
The interior of the attraction appears to have received a fresh coat of paint throughout. Everything is brigher and more vivid. All of the old favorites remain and there seem to be a little more holiday decorations than in previous years.
All in all, it was worth the wait to see the face lift on this old classic. Your children will not be disappointed! Check out my videos to the right for footage from this classic attraction.

Thank you so much for making our trips to Disney so much easier than they could be. We look forward to seeing the new renovations on “Its A Small World.” Keep up the great work!
