How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular Review

January 18, 2013 in All Posts, other so cal tourist attractions by Babes in Disneyland

Last night I took the kids to see the Dream Works’ How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The show follows the story of the Academy Award nominated movie How To Train Your Dragon using live actors, pyrotechnic special effects and host of lifelike dragons that walk, run, fly and breathe fire.

How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular is everything a family could ask for when it comes to live entertainment. The show’s the art direction and creativity in presenting the content is genius and the dragons are breath-taking. Acting in an area space is not easy, yet the acting never feels overdone or too small; every step, sequence and gesture is right on. And speaking of the actors’ their incredible energy and their high-flying artistry is second to none.

I cannot say enough about this incredible show and while I could go on for days about it, I think it’s best for you to check out this trailer for the show and see exactly what I mean.

If you live in Southern California, tickets are still available for this run, which ends on January 20. It was announced yesterday that the production team released more than 800 new tickets across the seven previously sold out performances at Honda Center. Newly available tickets are located in all three seating levels and are available to purchase immediately at the Honda Center box office, ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. If you are looking to make the dragon experience even more special, the Honda Center offers “Party Suites” which can be a great option for larger groups/families looking to have a premium experience. The suites start at $1,300 and can accommodate 14 to 20 people plus ppremium parking and amenities. You can learn more about the suites by calling (714) 634-2582.

I received complimentary tickets in order to review the show.
