When I was a little girl, I was in love with the Disney princesses. My friends and I were always digging through our moms’ closets looking for something…anything…that we could dress up in that remotely transformed us into princess. Today’s little girls have everything princess at their finger tips, and I admit, I’m a little envious. From shoes to shirts to dress-up clothes and more, girls of every age and nurture their inner princess.
For Play Time
The Swirling Lights Cinderella is basically the greatest doll…ever. If I had had her when I was a little girl, I don’t know if I would have ever put her down. Retailing for $29.99, this Cinderella, made by Mattel, is Barbie size and absolutely stunning. Plus, by simply pressing down on her necklace, her beautiful blue dress begins to dazzle with twinkling lights and magical music. I must admit that this beauty is in my office and I’ve been known to press her necklace every so often throughout the day as I work. (Thank goodness I work from home, right?!)
I predict that she will be one of the must-have gifts for little girls this holiday season. She is available now at retailers across the country.

For Mommy Time
As a mom of three wonderful boys, I still need my own dose of princess–just to keep all of the testosterone in check. This is my personal water bottle and I have to say that I don’t go anywhere without it. The Cinderella water bottle by Tervis (Tervis.com) is made in America and holds up to 24 ounces. It is has easy to open and close snap lid and an opening large enough to fit ice cubes. It is double insulated, which means there’s very little condensation. I love the modern design and the fact that it keeps my drinks ice-cold when I’m on the go. Another thing I love about this water bottle is that there aren’t any pieces to take apart to clean or straws to lose.
For Collectors
If you are looking for the perfect must-have for the serious Disney collector this holiday season, a glass slipper may just be the perfect fit. The limited edition Glass Slipper by Arriba’s Brothers (yes, as in the “Arriba’s Brothers” at Disneyland) is a fine crystal re-creation of Cinderella’s glass slipper. Limited to 250 pieces, it will be available at the Disney Store and DisneyStore.com for $199.50 beginning in October. The slipper commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Disney Store and features the anniversary logo etched onto the outer sole of the slipper. It is made of 24% leaded fine crystal and includes a certificate of authenticity
