Did you know that the Baby Care Centers at the Disneyland Resort offer a variety of baby and toddler items? In order to keep with the theming of the Baby Care Centers, especially at Disneyland, these items are discretely displayed so that they blend in with the rest of the center. The items are the necessities you can’t live without and are available at a “convenience” price (which means they are way more than you would expect to pay anywhere else). Nonetheless, it is great to know that should you run out of diapers, wipes, or formula, your baby (and you) have help close at hand.
Here is a full list of what is offered for sale at the Disneyland Resort Baby Care Centers:
- Diapers are available in sizes 1-6 and pull-ups in sizes 4t and 5t. (Last time I purchased diapers at Disneyland, they were Huggies.) Each diaper is $1.
- Stage 2 Gerber baby food is available by the two pack (the plastic containers) for $2 or the single containers can be purchased for $1. Glass jars of baby food are available for $1.
- Baby bottles are available for $2. They are plain, no frills bottles. Keep this in the back of your mind, as if you lose a baby bottle at the Disneyland Resort and it is turned into Lost and Found, it is thrown out because…well…you can imagine what Lost and Found would smell like with a room full of baby bottles and rotten milk.
- Pacifiers are $3.
- A 60-count packages of wipes is $2.
- A tube of Desitin is $4.
- A large bottle of Pedialyte is available for $8. (And if your baby needs Pedialyte while you are at the Disneyland Resort, you should also know that First Aid has registered nurses and is located right next to the Baby Care Centers in both parks.)
- Cans of Enfamil formula, regular and soy, are available for $15.
- Baby powder and baby lotion are $3.
- Children’s Tylenol is available at First Aid next to the Baby Center. Infant Tylenol is not available at First Aid, so pack that in your bag first thing so you don’t forget it!
In case you missed it, click here for information on the Baby Care Centers and here for information on diaper changing at the resort. And, if you really want to know EVERYTHING there is to know about taking a baby or toddler to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, then buy my book already! If you haven’t purchased your copy of Babes In Disneyland: The ultimate Disneyland Resort guide for families with young children, it is available on Amazon.com and Lulu.com. Over on Lulu is it 10% off the list price and now through May 16, you can get an extra 20% off if you use the coupon code “Lucky” at checkout.
Oh, and if anyone from Disney reads this piece, (psst…I know you do! I see you when I check my stats!) please consider selling baby clothing at the Baby Care Centers like they do at the centers in Walt Disney World. You really don’t need much–just onesies and maybe some footed pajamas would be great! Either of those items can get a baby through day or night. Sometimes babies are messy creatures and go through all of the outfits mommies bring to the resort!

I second the clothing at the baby center 🙂 Also maybe basic recieving blankets? When I was there I had an extra set of clothes for my 4 month old. I however wasn’t expecting a blowout through the diaper on her blanket, and on my baby carrier, so even though she had clean clothes, I had no blanket 🙂

And if you’re getting newborn diapers they’ll give you 2 for $1 🙂 I was told it’s “because they’re so small”
