Did you know that you can use your Disneyland annual passport for discounts on dining in table servide restaurants and merchandise in Walt Disney World? Even though you can’t use your pass to get in to the parks, it’s definitely worth bringing it along for that extra discounts. The same discount rates you receive at Disneyland also apply in Walt Disney World. Be sure you know your pass’ discount rates because annual passports in Walt Disney World are a bit different than ours. Cast Members are aware that you should receive the discount, but some had difficulty knowing which button(s) to push on the cash register. I often just told them the percentage and they entered it that way.
And by the way, the Walt Disney World Cast Members were incredibly friendly and love talking to you about your love of Disneyland when they see your pass!

This is really great information! I have heard, though, that not all restaurants give an AP discount at WDW. I’m considering purchasing the Tables in Wonderland card to get 20% off of food and drinks (alcohol included) while we’re there at the end of the month. Do you know if there is list of TS restaurants that will give you a DL AP discount? I was under the impression that food discounts at WDW are few and far between.

To my knowledge, there’s nothing written about the DL AP discounts in WDW. It was only a fluke that I had my AP with me and I just asked on a lark a couple of days into my trip. I asked at one of the quick serve locations and they told me that I could use it at the table service restaurants. I used it at Yak and Yeti at Animal Kingdom and we were able to use it for bar food in Rose and Crown. Tables of Wonderland is a good deal, especially since you are going to have so many people with you guys. Maybe you guys could split it. Or maybe…since you are coordinating your trip for so many people, they should buy it for you as a thank you. (Feel free to forward this to everyone you are traveling with.)
You should go over to Disneyfoodblog.com and ask if she has a list of WDW restaurants that will take the DL AP discount. I bet she might have a more definite answer. She also has a FB page and is on twitter. That might be an easier way to ask a question. Tell her you are one of my readers and do guest posts on B.I.D. 🙂
