When I started Babes In Disneyland, it was actually a static website with the purpose of helping families plan trips to Disneyland. The site blossomed and then the blog was born. I have been living the Babes In Disneyland life for almost four years and in that time I have met so many people who have pushed me to be a better Disney resource for families. In light of today’s Disney Blog Hop theme of shining a spotlight on other bloggers and Disney news reporters that inspire, here are my favorites.
That’s me, Suz, and Marcy (also known as The Three Disneyland Moms) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios park in Walt Disney World |
- About three years ago, Disneyland invited me to my first “exclusive” media event. I was thrilled; I felt like I had been pulled up to the majors. The other two bloggers/writers also selected by Disneyland are now two of my closest friends. Marcy, from The Glamorous Life Association and The Daily Disney, and Suz from OC Family Magazine where she is a columnist. (Her blogs Alive in Wonderland and Disneyland Locals are featured on the magazine’s website). During the last three years, we have had more adventures than I can count and inspired one another when we needed it the most. They are both great writers and terrific friends.
- Robert, from DAPS Magic, is another one of my favorite Disney bloggers. He is innovative, professional, and always conducts himself with the utmost of integrity. I love the way that he incorporates video into his reporting of Disney news and that he is a trusted, accurate source for all things Disneyland. I am thankful to call him my friend.
- While not a blog, Al and Joyce from the Tales from the Mouse House podcast have became an important part of my “Disney circle” last year. Al and Joyce are true Disneyland Resort fans. Like Robert, they are incredibly professional in their reporting and their podcast is of the highest quality out there. They are wonderful to work with and work very hard to produce informative and creative content for their listeners.
- Most recently, I finally met AJ from Disney Food Blog while at the Disney Social Media Moms conference. To put is bluntly…She Rocks! Click here to read my post about AJ.

Lisa, I just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU for giving us the opportunity to share our blogs each week. Before I joined by first Disney Blog Hop three weeks ago I think my blog had been viewed about a dozen or so times. It is really hard to find an audience with so many Disney blogs out there.

Honored to make the list! And do you know I remember the EXACT moment we meet? We were getting into a van to take us out of backstage….you had the cutest black shirt dress on too. It was a magical meeting. 🙂
