Pixar Fest, might better have been named Churro Fest given all of the amazing new churros that have been released in conjunction with the five month-long celebration. This most beloved Disneyland Resort treat is a guest favorite and also a Kuske family favorite. We’ll be trying all of the new flavors in what I’m affectionately referring to as the Pixar Fest “churro challenge” when we visit next weekend and will share the results of our taste test via the Babes in Disneyland Instagram account. Do you think this guy can handle it?!? 🙂
Strawberry Churro
The sweet and bright strawberry churro inspired by everyone’s favorite strawberry-scented bear Lots-o’-Huggin’ (Lotso) Bear, from Toy Story 3, can be found in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park.
Carrot Cake Churro
The Carrot Cake Churro can be found at the Churro Cart near the Haunted Mansion. It’s a carrot-flavored churro rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a Raisin-Carrot Cream Cheese frosting.
The Snipe
The Snipe is an Up Themed Churro featuring a lemon flavor and multi-colored sugar dust. This churro can be found at the Town Square Churro Cart as well as the Sleeping Beauty Castle Churro Cart.
Cocoa Churro
Inspired by the newest Disney/ Pixar film Coco the Cocoa Churro with a rich chocolate taste is dusted in vanilla bean and salted cinnamon sugar and served with a Mexican Chocolate dipping sauce.
Iced Specialty Churro
The iced specialty churro sounds like a dream with donut icing drizzled on a traditional churro and then dusted in cocoa cereal. This churro can be found at the churro cart in Bugs Land.
Racer Churro
The Racer Churros, while not new, are still available at the Cozy Cone Motel. These churros are inspired by Cars 3 and allow guests to choose their favorite racer’s color as they are dusted in red (Lightening McQueen), yellow (Cruz Ramirez), and blue (Jackson Storm) sugar.
While we’re so excited to experience all of the amazing entertainment, merchandise, and food offerings that Pixar Fest has to offer, our foodie hearts and eyes are set on trying each of the delicious, crunchy, and sugary treats that were inspired by some of our favorite Pixar Pals and movies. Which churro are you most looking forward to trying??
