It’s Independence Week at The Disneyland Resort, and Disneyland is decked out with red, white, and blue banners! Check out the Limited Time Magic happening during Independence Week!
Limited Time Magic – Independence Week
If you’re visiting the Parks this week, be sure to spend some time on Main Street U.S.A. where you can find some Limited Time Magic treats, special merchandise, and lots of beautiful decorations that will make for memorable photo opportunities!
This is also an opportune time to show your patriotic spirit and catch Disneyland’s Flag Retreat ceremony. The ceremony occurs everyday at the Disneyland flagpole right when you enter Main Street U.S.A., where The Disneyland Resort calls upon Guests who are active or retired military personnel and honors them with a salute. The Dapper Dans are on hand to sing The National Anthem and there is a full marching band that performs as well. While this isn’t quite Limited Time Magic, it’s a sight to behold!
Limited Time Magic for Annual Passholders
Disneyland Park: A Salute to 58 Years of Magic
Annual Passholders are invited to celebrate 58 years of the Disneyland Resort with three special presentations highlighting the original lands that made up Disneyland. The presentations will be held on the following dates:
- Week 1 – July 2, 2013: Adventureland & Frontierland (just passed)
- Week 2 – July 9, 2013: Fantasyland & Tomorrowland
- Week 3 – July 16, 2013: Main Street, U.S.A. & Disneyland in 1955
Presentations will be held at 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm at the Main Street Opera House. APs can begin registering fo rthe event at 12:00 noon the day of the event.
