Have you heard the news about the Market House? When it closes for its refurbishment this year it will be retrofitted to serve Starbucks coffee products. Since the Market House opened, the wonderful thing about a cup of Joe was that you could get free refills throughout the day if you kept your receipt. While Starbucks has not announced whether it will honor this tradition, my guess is that it will not.
Do you think that the current size of the Market House will be able to handle Disneyland Resort guests’ appetite for Starbucks coffee? What do you think of the upcoming changes to this iconic location?

I would guess no too. For green level cardholders there is a free refill perk while you are in the store, but that’s forfeited when you leave. Most “outside” Starbucks don’t honor cardholder peks anyway, so I’d be surprised if this one provided any refills at all.
I went into the Park today to visit the Market house one more time before Sundays “Last Day”.
As an ex Disney cast member who visited the Market House very frequently to buy snacks and coffee, it was a sad visit indeed.
While I was taking photos, I noticed two cast members, who did not work there, had stopped for one final look also.
We chatted for awhile, and talked about how times are always changing. Some good, some not so good, and some we kinda scratch our heads and ask “Why”.
This is one of those “Why’s” lol
Oh well, I wish Starbucks the best of luck, but I will surely miss the old Market House!
