Being pregnant at Disneyland doesn’t mean you won’t have any fun. In fact, pregnant moms can go on almost all of the attractions, with the exceptions of those high-speed or turbulent attractions. Mommies far along in their pregnancy may find a day at Disneyland a little more difficult than those at the beginning of their pregnancy, but it’s still a lot of fun…especially if you follow our tips and advice. For more information on visiting the Disneyland Resort, check out our first hand tips by clicking here for part one in our Disneyland while pregnant series and here for part two.
Taking an infant to Disneyland is not as difficult as you might think. While many parents cringe at the idea, it is certainly not as tough as it sounds and I’ve even done it alone…with two other children in tow. In fact, I’m here to tell you that it is much, much easier than taking a toddler. Click here for my tips on taking an infant to the Disneyland Resort. And trust me, not only is it not as hard as you think, you will have a really terrific time!
Don’t forget to dress your little on in a Disney outfit or costume for extra cute pictures! |
Whether a child’s first visit to the Disneyland Resort is as a baby, toddler or in-utero, it is indeed a special event for the entire family. Upon entering the parks, be sure to stop by City Hall at Disneyland or the Chamber of Commerce at Disney California Adventure and ask for special “We’re Celebrating” buttons for the family and a special “first visit” button for the little one. (We put ours on the stroller.) Also, be sure to get a picture with Mickey; it’s a must. He can always be found in his house in Toontown and sometimes on Main Street. If you want to get more pictures of your precious little one with the characters, you can make the most of your time by stopping by the information boards at Disneyland (near Central Plaza and the entrance to Adventureland) or near the Carthay Circle theater in Disney California Adventure Park and a Cast Member can help you find the friends you are looking for. And, if you are hoping to commemorate your special trip with a souvenir, we’ve come up with a list of the perfect must-haves to make that first visit even more memorable.
