I have a dirty little secret (tip) and you are either going to love me for it…or think I’m the worst mom ever. Here goes.
When I take my diaper-wearing children to the Disneyland Resort, I almost always have them wear overnight diapers. (Disposable overnights are available in size 3 and up.)
There. I said it. I’ve been wanting to write about this for a while, but thought y’all would think I’m crazy. Before you jump to conclusions about my (lazy) parenting, hear me out. When you are at the Disneyland Resort–or any theme park for that matter–bathroom breaks aren’t always easy to squeeze in when you are juggling show times, meals, and lines for the attractions. Add to the mix other children and the day can get by you before you know it. An overnight diaper simply gives me the peace of mind of knowing that if I can’t make it to the restroom for a diaper change as frequently as I would like, my child will not be soaked through.

I did the same with my daughter! Don’t feel guilty about it. You’re not alone!

I wish I had thought of this. We took our kids to DL when they were 2 and 9 months. We were rushing through the park not paying attention until we sat down to eat dinner and realized their pants were wet. I ended up putting my sweatshirt in the stroller so they wouldn’t put their dry butts on the wet seat. I learned my lesson the next time– frequent diaper changes! My best friends and I have discussed putting a “goodnite” on our kids next trip— we had a wetting incident and my son is recently potty trained so just in case. What do you think? They are 4, 5, and 7.

I did it too! Especially when it’s hot and you tend to give them more liquids.
