On April 19, Walt Disney Home Entertainment unveiled Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, an all-new movie on Blu-ray and DVD starring Ashley Tisdale reprising her role as Disney Channel’s global sensation “High School Musical” drama queen character Sharpay Evans.

This is Emily in all of her “pink-ness.”

Since my boys are so little…and boys, I deferred to one of the coolest girls I know to review this movie, Emily.  (You know her mom, Suzanne, as one of the Three Disneyland Moms and lead blogger and columnist for OC Family magazine.)  Here’s her thoughts on the movie.


“I am a big fan of Sharpay and I’m happy to say Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure starring Ashley Tisdale is even more fabulous than High School Musical! It’s a great story about not giving up no matter what, friendship, and of course being glamorous.

After performing with her dog Boi a casting director asks Sharpay if he wanted to audition for a play at Broadway. Sharpay misunderstands and  thinks they were talking about her, so of course she said, “yes!”  When she figures out it was Boi that they wanted she was disappointed, but her friend Payton ( Austin Butler) convinced her not to give up on her dream–to be on Broadway and to be famous.

I enjoyed seeing Sharpay again and I really loved all the clothes, glitter and pink-ness. It was fun being part of that world, just for a little while (I want to go to New York!). I think other girls will like it too. Even my brother liked it, but don’t tell him I wrote that.”
