It’s Monday and it’s time for another Must Have. Today I am giving away a copy of my book, Babes In Disneyland: The ultimate Disneyland Resort guide for families with young children. To my knowledge, my book is the only book written just for families with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. The book combines my years working as a Disneyland tour guide with my time spent as a writer for the Disneyland Resort and my years taking my own three boys (currently ages 1, 3, and 6) to the Disneyland Resort. This book was a labor of love. I wrote and published the book on my own without the help of a professional editor, graphic designers, etc. I did most of it on my sofa…in my family room…after the kids were in bed or in between diapers changes, the dog barking, kids crying, making meals, doing homework, working, and occasionally cleaning my house.

I am really proud of what this book has to offer families. If you haven’t already, you can head over to where the book is sold on Lulu.com, and check out a preview of the book. In the preview, you can see the full table of contents, as well as a lot of sample pages. My goal with the book was to make days at Disneyland less stressful for parents and provide them with the inside scoop on all of the age appropriate activities and attractions for little ones, in addition to providing parents with the strategies and services they can use to “manage” the parks like the pros. I am also really happy to be able to provide families with special needs children information on the Disneyland Resort’s accommodations that make magic accessible to all children. Information for families with special needs children is embedded throughout the book, with additional information in a special needs chapter.

The book is written in a very conversational style. This is not a formal piece of literature; it is intended for fast information at your finger tips! It is written to feel like I am along with you ever step of the way.
