My boys with Commander Chris Ferguson

Last month, the great folks at Disney Junior invited children from the East Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club to preview the new episode and meet the real-life astronauts of the last space shuttle mission. My boys and I were lucky enough to attend this event held at the Disney Studios in Burbank, California, watch the episode and learn what it was like to be part of the last shuttle crew from the astronauts. The children asked questions ranging from why space exploration is important to whether or not there are cows on the moon.

My boys loved the episode that takes Mickey and his friends on a galactic problem-solving mission that includes favorites like Martian Mickey. Below is a clip from “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Space Adventure.”
