“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” Mickey Great Outdoors” Review and Giveaway

“It’s the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Come inside, it’s fun inside!”

I am a big, big Mickey Mouse fan. Mickey and his Clubhouse gang are in regular rotation in our home. As a former teacher, I love the fact that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse exposes children to early math concepts and problem solving. As a mom, I love that my kids always answer out loud when Mickey asks, “Do you wanna come inside my clubhouse?”. I love that my boys are growing up the classic characters and learning from them at the same time.

Early last week, The Walt Disney Studios released a new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD entitled “Mickey’s Great Outdoors” just in time for summer fun and your own family’s great outdoor adventures. Disney has packaged “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Great Outdoors” to include a DVD, a digital copy and a Mickey Mote. The Mickey Mote is a child-friendly handheld remote control that allows children to interact with with the episodes. The digital copy allows parents to download all the episodes’ onto a secondary device for easy, portable on-the-go access.

The DVD set includes four Mickey Moue Clubhouse episodes plus an all-new, never-before-seen episode entitled, “Mickey’s Fish Story.” (My boys LOVE it.) The other episodes are Daisy’s Grasshopper, Mickey’s Camp Out, Mickey and Minnie’s Jungle Safari, and Daisy in the Sky. Below are a couple of clips from the DVD:

My boys adore Mickey Mouse Clubhouse videos during those long car trips to Disneyland. Being that I’m about an hour away, sometimes those videos can be a lifesaver. The idea of having Mickey Mouse Clubhouse videos on demand on my phone thanks to the digital download makes me an oh-so-happy mommy…and I’m sure my boys will be happy to have them when we are out and about too. With summer upon us, I like that these videos extol the virtues of being outside and out with nature.
