There’s no mistaking the opening few bars of the Disney Junior cartoon, Handy Manny. It doesn’t matter what the kids are doing; if they hear that music, they come running. Handy Manny is a favorite in our home. We have lots of Manny toys, books, and it’s set to record daily on our DVR. The boys love Manny and his tools. I love the show because it teaches children problem solving skills, lessons on being green and the environment, and the importance of helping others. I also love that the characters on Handy Manny–from the tools to the “real” people of Sheet Rock Hills–they have real problems and flaws showing that people and situations are not always perfect.I recently had the chance to interview the voice of Manny, Wilmer Valderrama, on his role as the beloved character and his future plans with Disney Junior.
