Every evening at Disney California Adventure Park, the arch way into the Mad Tea Party in Hollywood Land fills with smoke and the party’s two “bouncers”–modeled after Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum–welcome guests into the Mad Tea Party. Guests go down the rabbit hole and see  a gigantic stage where the Mad Tea Party band–featuring the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat–play dance music. The band plays every hour for 20 minutes and when they aren’t playing, some of Southern California’s hottest DJs are spinning the hottest dance and party music. 

After experiencing the main stage area, guests can experience the House of Cards with videos and dancers. And speaking of dancers, do you love dance crews? Mad Hatter hosts some of the most popular dance crews in the country! The area also features the Mad Arcade. No matter where you are, you’ll hear the music and see the action. 


While the Mad Tea Party is focused on a bit older audience of teens and young adults, the music and environment is definitely rated G with non-offensive music and dancing.


For all of you old folks like me, this is the modern-day Videopolis /Tomorrowland Terrace dance party we remember from back in the day but way more detailed and themed…and with the option to buy alcohol. Check out Marcy’s video all about the Mad Tea Party!
