Halloween at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim is one of my favorite times of the year. The festive decorations, the seasonal foods, and the giant pumpkin in the middle of Main Street are just some of the few highlights that Disneyland has to offer to get you into the Halloween spirit. I’ve always been curious how some of the other parks celebrated, as noted in my Hong Kong Disneyland post, when I visited during their Halloween celebration. Luckily, I got the opportunity to check out the decorations at Disneyland Paris during my recent trip to France – and they did not disappoint!

As you pass the entrance plaza and enter Main Street USA, you are greeted by the sounds of ghosts giggling in the distance. Each shop on Main Street is adorned with a ghost performing an activity related to the shop’s purpose. Ghost figurines are also stationed throughout the park in front of the stores. Signature Mickey pumpkin heads adorning golden banners with yellow flags appear on every window, most prominent on Disneyland’s City Hall building. Frontierland at Disneyland Paris also gets into the festive spirit with pumpkin figurines and lanterns of their own.
To kick off the Disneyland Paris series (right before Halloween!), I decided to share my and my fiance David’s photos of Disneyland Paris’ take on Halloween. Enjoy the round-up!
