The Curious George exhibit is back at Discovery Cube Los Angeles. This fantastic exhibit is geared toward kiddos ages 5 and younger and provides ample opportunities to “be curious” just like everyone’s favorite monkey! I recently had a mommy-son afternoon with my youngest son and he had a blast!
Here are Connor’s favorite things to do at “Curious George: Let’s Get Curious” at Discovery Cube Los Angeles.
Kids can create pinwheels and use drafting tools in two different areas of the exhibit–perfect for practicing fine motor skills. He loves anything that has to do with hands-on creating, so this was right up his alley.
At the apartment building, children get to experiment with wheels and pulleys to move George from window to window. The also learn the science behind color, light and shadow. He loved using the overhead to arrange shapes and overlap colors.
The construction section was his very favorite part! He had a blast using the big, foam blocks to create a small structures using the outlines on the walls and placing the cubes in the conveyor belt and using the pulley to pull it through to the end. He could have spent hours in there!
Curious George: Let’s Get Curious is going on now through January 3 at Discovery Cube Los Angles and can be found in the Cube Jr. area right inside the entrance. Your kiddos can meet Curious George IN PERSON every Saturday and Sunday in November and December, plus daily Deceber 19 through Janary 3!
