This week, we’ve been featuring lots of information about the new holiday decor at Disneyland. The new decorations are incredibly exciting and beautiful…and were two years in the making. On Tuesday, we posted a video tour of the Buena Vista Street decorations with Disneyland’s manager of resort enhancement, Dave Caranci. On Thursday, we posted a video tour with Dave on the decorations in Cars Land. (Click here to take the Buena Vista Street tour and click here to take the Cars Land tour.)
And as if these fun videos full of behind-the-scenes info weren’t enough, we have two extra videos, we know you are going to love!

Want more fun facts about the new holiday decorations in Disney California Adventure Park? Here’s a few fun facts to throw around at your next Disney cocktail party:
- All of the decorations in the Buena Vista Street shops were based on real decor featured in shops in downtown Los Angeles in 1931.
- The Silly Symphany windows on Buena Vista Street were created by Disney artist Brandon Franklin. After creating the drawings, he photo imaged the art into a computer and then each layer of the image was printed out in order to create the pop-up book effect.
- 4,000 custom cones were made to decorate the Cozy Cone. They haven’t all been used and more will be layered into the decor next year.
